‘Dancing With The Stars’: Rumer Willis, Val Chmerkovskiy Impress Judges With Their Foxtrot, While Bruce Willis And Demi Moore Look On [WATCH VIDEO]
Singer and actress, Rumer Willis encapsulated the audience with her foxtrot on Hozier’s “Take me to Church” number. She is one of the celebrity participants of the “Dancing With The Stars” Season 20. Seated in the front row to show support to Rumer were none other than her dad Bruce Willis along with his wife Emma Heming, according to E Online.
Demi Moore, Rumer’s mom came along with her sisters Tallulah and Scout. Demi was seated a row behind. The former Hollywood couple were reunited at the show to cheer their star daughter after being divorced in 2000. Rumer, 26 the eldest daughter of the couple took centre stage with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy, 28 on her DWTS debut performance on March 16. She was seen working hard on her moves during the rehearsals with her tough taskmaster partner. The pair’s foxtrot left the judges and the audience impressed getting them the top score of the night 32 out of 40 points.
Her flowing, dusty pink, ball gown contrasted with her dark bob hair tied with a matching pink flower and highlighted the romantic mood. She spun around the ballroom with Val in a passionate dance and set the dance floor on fire, literally. There was grace and magic in every step of the pair.
According to the judges they are the pair to watch out for this season. Len Goodman called their ballroom dance the dance of the night pointing out to Val that this could be his season. While Julianne Hough said that she literally got chills while watching them. Besides, Carrie Ann Inaba told the dancing duo that would most likely win.
Meanwhile, Rumer’s proud mother Demi took to Twitter after a gap of two years in support of her daughter and asked her fans to vote for the contestant. “Been awhile but my baby girl @TheRue was amazing tonight on #DWTS so proud! Watch & vote!” the 52-year-old actress wrote. Rumer on her part posted a picture on Instagram and captioned it as “One of the best moments of my life. The actress also posted a new picture of herself today and good humouredly captioned it: "This is what happens when you get used to dancing non stop. I can't sit still. So I decided to work on my splits while watching videos of the Cha Cha. @iamvalcyou've turned me into a monster. #TeamValenRue#DWTS" [Check The Update Here].
