Rumer Willis joined the list of stars who conveyed their congratulations to newly engaged couple, “Dancing with the Stars” pro dancers Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Willis took to Instagram on Saturday, Dec. 5, to congratulate Murgatroyd, whom she called “wifey” in her post, according to Entertainment Tonight. The “Dancing with the Stars” season 20 winner wrote, "My wifey is getting married!!! love you @petamurgatroyd, so happy for you." Willis even included an emoji of an engagement ring to her post.

The star even shared a group selfie with Murgatroyd and friend Nicole Volynets on Instagram on Sunday which she captioned, “About Last Night…” In the post, Willis posed with the two ladies, while Murgatroyd showed off her engagement ring.

The two “Dancing with the Stars” pro dancers got engaged on Saturday after Chmerkovskiy proposed to Murgatroyd during the “Sway: A Dance Trilogy” show in Miami. Both took to Instagram to share the happy news with Chmerkovskiy sharing a snap of the moment he presented the ring to Murgatroyd during the show. He wrote on Instagram, “She said ‘yes.’”

Meanwhile, Willis who won dancing competition during the show’s 20th season earlier this year, previously told People magazine that her “Dancing with the Stars” journey has helped her to express who she truly was to her fans. In a November interview with the magazine, Willis shared, "It was such a powerful thing for me to be connected to fans in a real way… By being on Dancing With The Stars, I was able to express who I was and be myself, and tell my own story. It was such a huge thing for me."

Willis also commented on how the dancing competition helped to boost her confidence and that she’s open to doing it again. "It was the best time, honestly,” she stated.
