As “Dancing With The Stars” rolled into Week 6 of Season 21, the nine remaining pairs celebrated “Famous Dances” night on Monday. The couples performed iconic dance routines from movies and music videos. Celebrity chef Paula Deen and her pro partner Louis van Amstel were eliminated. It was done based on the lowest combined judges’ scores and viewers' votes from the “Switch Up” week and “Most Memorable Year” performances.

One of the worst dances of the night was Paula Deen and van Amstel doing a jazz routine to Madonna’s “Vogue.” The chef was pulled across the dance floor by the male dancers. There were also a lot of unnecessary hand motions, TV Line reports. Her performance has not gone down too well with the judges, or the audience.

The audience will not forget her routine from Week 5, where she literally shoved a male dancer’s face into her cleavage. This week she did it again. She secured the lowest score of the night with 24 out of 40 points. This week, Alexa PenaVega and pro Mark Ballas are in jeopardy.

Tamar Braxton and pro Val Chmerkovskiy did a jazz routine to Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation.” For the entire dance, Tamar lip-synced Janet Jackson’s lyrics. There was no hint of an amateur dancer in her; rather she managed to do some flawless footwork.

Two other dancing duos also scored a neat 40 points. Singer Andy Grammer with pro Allison Holker paid tribute to Gene Kelly through their jazz routine. There was a lot of energy and nostalgia in his dance and he managed to do it with a smile on his face.

Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough did a rumba to the iconic Patrick Swayze/Jennifer Grey number “Time of my Life” from “Dirty Dancing” complete with the lift. They got a standing ovation and Hough managed to raise Irwin above his head. The partners garnered straight 10s, People reports.

Carlos PenaVega and pro Witney Carson did a rumba to Magic Mike. It was the most smouldering dance of the night. PenaVega completely nailed the routine, E Online reports.

The scores from Week 6:
Alek Skarlatos & Lindsay Arnold – “Jailhouse Rock” from Jailhouse Rock: 30/40

Alexa Pena Vega & Mark Ballas – “I’m A Slave 4 U” by Britney Spears: 30/40

Andy Grammer & Allison Holker – “Good Morning” from Singing In The Rain: 40/40

Bindi Irwin & Derek Hough – “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing: 40/40

Carlos Pena Vega & Witney Carson – “Pony” from Magic Mike: 38/40

Hayes Grier & Emma Slater – “You’re The One That I Want” from Grease: 32/40

Nick Carter & Sharna Burgess – “You Should Be Dancing” from Saturday Night Fever: 39/40

Paula Deen & Louis van Amstel – “Vogue” by Madonna: 24/40

Tamar Braxton & Valentin Chmerkovskiy – “Rhythm Nation” by Janet Jackson: 40/40

Meanwhile in Week 5 of DWTS Season 21, all the contestants celebrated the “Switch-Up Week” theme last Monday. The nine remaining celebrities were paired with different pro partners. Alexa PenaVega and stand-in partner Hough walked away with the highest score of the night with 40 points.

“Dancing With The Stars” Season 21 airs at 8 pm on ABC on Monday and 9 pm on Tuesday.
