Following the split of Rachel Weisz from director Darren Aronofsky (Pi, The Wrestler, Black Swan), the English actress is now linked to her Dream House co-star Daniel Craig with reports claiming that the two had fallen in love on the set of their film in Canada.

Earlier this week, Aronofsky and Weisz issued a joint statement announcing their separation. Representatives for both party told TMZ: "Rachel Weisz and Darren Aronofsky have been separated for some months. They remain close friends and are committed to raising their son together in NYC."

The Daily Mail reported that Rachel Weisz, who won an Oscar for her performance in The Constant Gardener, refused to comment when asked about Daniel Craig (Casino Royale, Constant Gardener, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo). The paper quoted a "close source" insinuating that Craig is indeed the reason for the split.

"Rachel and Daniel simply sparked during the filming of Dream House in Canada. They have great chemistry," said the source.

"Darren's such a good and responsible man, but Daniel's the opposite extreme, he's brooding and mysterious. Darren and Rachel have simply grown apart, they spent long periods away from each other, moving in different directions."

A romance between Weisz and Craig seems plausible. Weisz, 40 was never married with Darren, which eliminates the problem of divorce, although they were engaged since 2005. However, Craig, 42 is currently engaged with producer Satsuki Mitchell.
