Daniel Radcliffe Joins The Cast Of ‘Now You See Me 2’
Daniel Radcliffe will be starring in "Now You See Me 2," along with Lizzy Caplan and Jay Chou. The movie franchise is about a group that calls itself "The Four Horsemen" that pulls off seemingly impossible heists, while performing magic tricks on stage. [Spoiler Alert]
Lionsgate has announced that Daniel Radcliffe will be featuring in "Now You See Me 2." The actor is mostly known for his role in the "Harry Potter" movies. He also starred in the 2013 movie "Horns." His other upcoming projects include "Frankenstein" and "Brooklyn Bridge."
Lizzy Caplan is famous for her role in the popular TV series "Masters of Sex." She has also starred in other TV shows like "The League," "Newsreaders" and "New Girl." She will be joined by the Taiwanese actor Jay Chou, who is known for playing the role of Kato in the movie "The Green Hornet."
The three actors will be joined by cast members from the first "Now You See Me" movie - Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine and Jesse Eisenberg, who will be reprising their roles. There has still been no confirmation that Isla Fisher will be starring in the upcoming movie, she played the role of Henley Reeves in the previous movie and was one of the "Four Horsemen."
Very little is known about the plot of the movie "Now You See Me 2." The presence of the character Arthur Tressler suggests that he may try to get revenge from "The Four Horsemen." The group had robbed Arthur in the previous movie to give the stolen money back to the people who were cheated by Arthur's company.
Mark Ruffalo played the FBI agent Dylan Rhodes, who masterminded the whole heist and recruited "The Four Horsemen" based on their individual talent. Jesse Eisenberg plays the role of J. Daniel Atlas, who is a street magician, Woody Harrelson plays the role of a mentalist called Merritt McKinney and Dave Franco plays Jack Wilder, who distracts people with magic tricks while he robs them.
Fans of the franchise are excited to see what new heist "The Four Horsemen" have planned in "Now You See Me 2" The success of the first movie has put great expectations on the sequel. The director of the upcoming movie is yet to be announced.
