Daniel Radcliffe was recently seen sporting a longer hairstyle but he did not wait for too long to have it.

The Harry Potter star attended the London screening of his movie "Kill Your Darlings" at the Cineworld Haymarket, surprising his fans with a wavy, shoulder-length 'do. Radcliffe is also set to appear in the new adaptation of "Frankenstein," where he plays Dr. Frankenstein's assistant Igor. This new adaptation focuses on the story of Frankenstein's inception as seen through the eyes of assistant Igor.

To look the part of a 19th century gentleman, Radcliffe had attached shoulder-length hair extensions the same color as his hair. Thus the reason for his new, longer hairstyle, which E! Online commends for the natural, almost seamless look it gives.

'We have to hand it to the stylist who perfected the color match and seamless application-you can't even tell the difference!' writes the site.

Radcliffe talks about it during his appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" along with fellow guest Mary Berry. When the latter complimented how soft the former's hair feels, Radcliffe says, 'Thank you, it is real dead human being's hair.'

Berry however, argues that those can't come from a corpse, to which Radcliffe responds with, 'Well I assume the person is dead or someone who's donated it.'

Meanwhile, Radcliffe also sported a longer, curlier hairstyle in "Kill Your Darlings," though not as long as the one with extensions for "Frankenstein." He plays poet Allan Ginsberg in a film based on the true story of a murder case during the early days of New York's Beat Poet movement.

The former child star has gone a long way since his "Harry Potter" days, starting from his nude appearance in the West End play "Equus" and went on to take darker and more daring roles on film.
