Daniel Radcliffe is the star of one of the most popular movie franchises of all time and may have won the hearts of million female fans but he still has a thing or two to learn about dating.

Luckily, the actor has found love with girlfriend Rosanne Coker, a production assistant he met on the set of the last "Harry Potter" film.

"I hated dating, because I'm crap at it! With Rosie, I didn't know what was appropriate, like on which date you're supposed to try and kiss her," Radcliffe tells Sunday's Parade magazine.

Early on in the process, Radcliffe, 22, recalled a time when he tried to kiss Coker. "I went to kiss Rosie and at the last minute lost my nerve and ended up kissing her neck, which is a very intimate place to kiss somebody on the second date. Fortunately, she just found it really funny," the actor shared.

Sounds like the actor's dating flub did not hinder things with Coker. "When Rosie's here, every day seems better," Radcliffe says. "Ultimately, I think, it comes down to that having somebody in your life who makes you happier than you thought you could be," he added.

Radcliffe, who recently ended a Broadway run in "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" and will next star in "The Woman in Black," says that he is not an easy person to love.

"There are lots of times when I'm a very good boyfriend, but there are times when I'm useless," he says.

"I mean, I'm a mess around the house. I talk nonstop. I become obsessed with things. And she listens to it, and she loves me for my oddness, my awkwardness and all of those things that I hate about myself," Radcliffe shared.
