Despite their reconciliation early this year and vacations that prove they've gotten closer than ever, no wedding bells are going to ring out for Danny Cipriani and Kelly Brook any time soon.

The rugby star has made it clear in his interview with the Sunday Mirror that he has no immediate plans to propose to his girlfriend.

"I'm very happy where I am and I feel very fortunate to have Kelly. But I've got a bad knee so I definitely won't be getting down on one knee any time soon," he jokingly told the newspaper.

The 25-year old rugby star admitted he's not even sure whether he wants to be married and have kids at all. He said marriage and children may be good for some people, but not for others. "I may be one or the other. I don't know," he said.

Danny suffered a knee injury after a bus knocked him over during a lads' night out in April. The Sale Sharks player admits that his 33-year old girlfriend has been a big source of strength throughout his ordeal.

He said Kelly has been very supportive and he is very grateful for it. "It wakes you up and makes you refocus," he said of his girlfriend's role in his road to recovery.

While Kelly and Danny enjoy a closer relationship now, it has not been smooth sailing ever since they got back together this year. In February, a word war broke out between Kelly and Danny's ex-fling Katie Price when the latter let out an unsavoury remark about the former's swimsuit pictorial.

It was followed by a string of heated barbs on Twitter that saw Kelly labelling Katie "desperate," and Katie threatening back with a tell-all biography that would expose untold secrets of her brief romance with Danny.

Kelly branded Katie's plan as "hilarious" and said that the 35-year old mother of three was just one of the many girls Danny went out with in October 2011.

"@MissKatiePrice Your doing a Kiss&Tell on Danny?? Haha that's hilarious you dated for 5mins and was one of many at that time. Desperate," Kelly tweeted last month.

Meanwhile, the respective exes of both Kelly and Danny have also now embarked on a romantic relationship of their own.

Thom Evans and Jessica Lowndes were seen around London attending almost every party in the past weeks. The pair has since gone separately as the 90201 actress flew back to Los Angeles for work.
