Sony joined other sponsors on Sunday to call on soccer's rulers to deal thoroughly with allegations of bribery to secure the 2022 World Cup for Qatar, an issue overshadowing this week's kickoff in Brazil. With its four yearly showpiece event only four days away, soccer's governing body FIFA is on the defensive, conducting an internal investigation into the decisions to hold the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the 2022 Cup in Qatar. Players of "Dark Soul II" may be surprised to notice a familiar face in the game when in PvP mode. A player has recently noticed a new character in the game resembling the face of famous fictional boxer Rocky Balboa.

Kotaku writer Mark Serrels first noticed the resemblance to Rocky Balboa when Chainsaw Ape posted a video of his brand new character in "Dark Souls II". The character, according to Inquisitr, exactly resembles the famed boxer in looks and movements. Prominently played by actor Sylvester Stallone in all "Rocky" movies, Serrels described the character's likeness to Balboa with his fist-fighting skills as he beats down on other players.

According to Serrels, Chainsaw Ape created his character with the likeness of the actor's role in a sense that he goes into a fight with no actual weapons. He wears no armour and his only means of defense are his fists. As seen on the video (below), Chainsaw Ape prefers his "Dark Soul II" character to be naked from the waist up, wearing only what could also be linked to Rocky Balboa's iconic athletic shorts. Inquisitr also applauded the creator on his effort in creating the character's face in the likeness of the well-known boxer.

The gameplay as seen on the video also resembles Rocky Balboa's ring fights. According to Inquisitr, the boxer assumes the position of the loser first, welcoming the punches first before pouncing on his evil opponent. Serrels also commended Chainsaw Ape's video for being flawlessly made from start to finish. The gameplay seemed like a movie when some sequences were edited with scenes from "Rocky" and with some cameo appearances from other characters of the movie. Burgess Meredith even made a quick appearance in the video according to Inquisitr.

When playing in PvP mode in "Dark Souls II", Inquisitr said players are given free rein to enter other players' world. They also have the freedom to steal some goods along the way. But the main point of the gameplay is for players to defeat their opponent's character bad enough that they won't be able to play well on the succeeding games. That is why a character like Rocky Balboa in "Dark Souls II" is best fitted to defeat any opponent because of his boxing skills.
