Irma Nici, the woman with whom David Beckham allegedly had an affair, claimed she had slept with the sportstar after a former lover found her diary (with which In Touch was supposed to support Nici's claims) and threatened Nici that she would call her mother.

This latest development in the alleged David Beckham's affair, comes from Kristin Davis, Nici's former employer at the Wicked Models, a Manhattan escort agency.

"Irma told me she's broken up with a boyfriend who found a journal she kept about her life as a prostitute. He threatened to call the press and her mother. She decided to take matters into her own hands," Davis said.

Irma Nici, in a story published by US magazine In Touch, claimed that she had sexual ecounters with David Beckham, twice: oncein New York and once in London.

Beckham's camp had repeatedly denied that David had an affair with Nici and has taken steps to sue In Touch magazine for libel.The Beckham couple said that the allegations made by Irma Nici in In Touch is "completely untrue and totally ridiculous." The couple had already taken legal recouse in Los Angeles Superior Court.

Davis did not name Beckham but said Irma Nici claimed that "she had a new boyfriend who was British, who she was madly in love with."
