David Beckham Attends Halloween Event in NYC, Fools Party-Goers Dressed as Himself, Announces New Documentary Film
David Beckham was unrecognisable at the Halloween Hangover party he attended at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan, New York City on Saturday.
The British superstar athlete came and dressed as himself, reported Page Six. Beckham was the only person in the party who was not wearing any costume. The people who attended the Halloween party almost did not recognise him.
"What is your costume," one person asked David. "I am going as David Beckham," said David. "Wow, you look exactly like him," the person replied.
In a Halloween event like this, you expect everyone to come in amazing costumes. It is unlikely that you will really believe that a person who looks like a certain celebrity is the same celebrity he or she is impersonating. The retired football legend sure knows how to pull some clever trick, right?
"David came after past midnight with Alexandra Richards and Mazdack Rassi," a source told Page Six.
The Halloween party was made possible by American entrepreneur Matt Levine and Jeffrey Jah. The other celebrities who graced the said event were Jeisa Chiminazzo, Jessica White, Aline Weber, Alynn Babinski, Anouk Sanders, David Rabin, Jayma Cardoso, and more.
After retiring, Beckham has consistently managed to remain in the loop. He has just launched a new book, and he even partnered with social media mogul Facebook to initiate an online signing for his fans all over the world. He has been reported to participate in the upcoming Ironman triathlon in Hawaii in 2014. Beckham is also currently working out a possibility of opening a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise in Miami. He has recently launched his new underwear line for H&M.
On Monday, Beckham also announced on Facebook his new documentary. "I am very happy to announce the upcoming release of 'The Class of 92' documentary on Dec. 2," David posted. "It was fantastic to get back with the boys again and go through all the fantastic members of our time at United, I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed it," he added.
Beckham's retirement from playing professional soccer does not mean that the public will not be seeing more of him. Pretty sure, David will find ways to reach out to his fans all over the world.
