To all soccer fans out there, soccer superstar David Beckham turned down an offer to join the Paris Saint-Germain's club and decided to stay to play for Los Angeles Galaxy. Is he the next Hollywood action star?

PSG announced their pursuit for Beckham to join the club and reported to have offered the superstar a 18-month, $18.7 million contract. However, negotiations had been unsuccessful, apparently for family reasons. It seems that the patriarch does not want to uproot his family in Los Angeles.

French newspapers Le Parisien and L'Equipe reported last week that Beckham had agreed to terms with PSG, but Leonardo, the club's sporting director, acknowledged Friday that Beckham might not be coming because it would mean uprooting his family from its home in Beverly Hills.

Beckham is currently spending a winter break in UK with his family after his team won the MLS title last November, and is now expected to sign a new deal with LA Galaxy.

DailyMail reported that Beckham said that the move may cause strain to his family, especially to his three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz who already adapted to LA way of life.

However, it seems that she has to settle for the shops in LA and continue the role of being a "soccer mom" where she was seen on the sidelines on Saturday mornings watching her sons play football.

The ex-Spice Girl was seen clutching baby Harper in fabulous dresses and heels, looking more glamorous than other mothers.

However, one of the speculated reasons why the soccer superstar does not want to leave Hollywood is because he will launch a career as an action star. Hollywood action resident and "Mission Impossible" star Tom Cruise once said that Beckham has the chops to become one, especially with his built.
