David Beckham is out to sue a magazine for claiming that he slept with a very expensive prostitute. The soccer star will apparently take legal action against a US gossip magazine after alleging that Victoria Beckham's husband availed the service of a $10000-a night sex worker.

"The allegations that have been made are completely untrue and totally ridiculous, as the magazine was clearly told before publication," a spokesman for David Beckham was quoted as saying to the United Kingdom's Telegraph.

"Sadly, we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine."

The US magazine at the center of this controversy is InTouch magazine. The magazine alleged that Davide Beckham slept with an escort known only as Miss Nici in a New York hotel room in 2007. The gossip magazine has further reported that Miss Nici flew in to London a month later to render her services to the sportstar.

Miss Nici claimed that she and Beckham "had great chemistry."

I've seen quite a few high-profile people. [David Beckham] isn't full of himself. He's a really nice guy."

According to Miss Nici, she availed the services of a second woman to join her in the 2007 New York liason with Beckham. The incident allegedly happened after the soccer star went on to join the LA Galaxy team.
