Brooklyn could be following in the footsteps of his football superstar dad, David Beckham. Brooklyn, who turned 14 on March, made his debut with the Queens Park Rangers' (QPR) Under 14s youth team.

The 2012-2013 QPR season is the 124th professional season and it is the sixth season in the Premier League. It has squad ages for the championship league cup, under 21, under 18 and under 14.

Brooklyn showed keen interest in football at a very young age. He started playing at 4 years of age for Spurs. He has even had trials with the Chelsea juniors. He also belongs in the Under 14 roster of Los Angeles Galaxy. Brooklyn would also go with his Dad during trainings of Paris Saint-Germain.

David joined the other parents on the sidelines to cheer for their sons.

According to Daily Mail UK, David stood next to former Chelsea captain Dennis Wise, who was also in attendance to watch and support his 13-year-old son Henry play in the same team as Brooklyn's.

James Caley, who refereed the match, thought that there was potential in Brooklyn. He even tweeted, posting his praise for Brooklyn even though their team did not win. "[Brooklyn] Played on the right wing. Looks like he has potential, more of a Spanish style to him atm," Caley posted on his Twitter account. Brooklyn played roughly a similar position that dad David used to play for Real Madrid and Manchester United. David was a right-side midfielder.

David Beckham may have already retired from his professional football career, but he already got his eldest son following in his footsteps. The elder Beckham made his first professional debut at the age of 17 with Manchester United. Who knows, Brooklyn may just do the same in the coming years - like father like son.
