David Cameron issued a warning to Google, Yahoo and Bing if they do not start prohibiting internet queries for illegal images. Cameron said the law would rule over three companies by force if they refuse to ban the queries voluntarily.

According to Mr Cameron, Google and similar internet companies are assisting people to find illegal images of child abuse. He also said that the firms are supplying these photos to people "sick and malevolent." The Prime Minister go as far as accusing Google of profiting from circulating unlawful images and videos of children going through sexual abuse.

Cameron requested the online giant to compile a list of terms often used and ban these terms when a user decides to search for them. In an increasingly tense bid to call out to Google, Bing and Yahoo, the Prime Minister stated that they have the "moral duty" to address the matter.

The technical expertise of these firms is helping instead of thwarting of pedophiles. Google and other similar companies have until October to respond and follow the official's request. On October, the government will be summoning the companies to discuss about their strategy for "obliterating this disgusting material from the net".

The Prime Minister warned the Google and similar firms as part of the government's initiative to address online threats to children. According to the plan and measure, all internet services should automatically block adult content upon sale to domestic customers. Those who purchase services from businesses like TalkTalk, Virgin and BT will be requested to turn off the content filter should they wish to have access to websites with mature, adult or pornographic content.

"Companies like Google make their living out of trawling and categorising content on the web," he said.

"In a few keystrokes you can find what you're looking for out of unimaginable amounts of information. Then they sell advertising space to companies, based on your search patterns," Cameron added.

"We use our own systems and work with child safety experts to find it, remove and report it," the Prime Minister explained.
