The actor who became popular for being the hunky lifeguard over at 'Baywatch', David Hasselhoff, has made a surprising exit from 'Celebrity Apprentice Australia' due to a family reasons back in the US.

This made a lot of fans sad especially with the big first impressions he made during its first few episodes. He was able to do a total of three episodes before he decided quitting the show.

His teammates, Jason Akermanis and Ian Dickson, were both left shocked with the revelation. According to Hasselhoff, it is a commitment to the family that he cannot let pass for it includes his sense of 'honour.'

According to the representative of Channel Nine, even if the actor only participated in three challenges, he still did well for his contribution with the money raised to be given to charity reached about $500,000. However, it is shown how much his team, especially Akermanis, was frustrated with his sudden goodbye.

Hasselhoff on Jason Akermanis

During past interviews, it has always been David who has been in defense for his teammate and co-star. He even attested that the ex-footballer is a 'true gentleman' and that he enjoys working with him. Whenever Akermanis would be criticized for his tactless comments, Hasselhoff would always say that celebrities can't help but say things that the press would take way too differently.

Akermanis loved having Hasselhoff around then, but not until the 'Baywatch' star bid goodbye. Besides, he admitted once that he gets to say things (especially over at Twitter) that he later on regrets.

So will he regret having said that he was 'digusted' with the sudden news of Hasselhoff leaving?
