David Henrie Welcomes Third Baby With Wife Maria Cahill [Photos]
"Wizards of Waverly Place" star David Henrie shared a sweet family photo featuring his newborn baby girl named Gemma Clare.
The 33-year-old actor shared two photos on Instagram Sunday. In the first photo, he can be seen sitting on the hospital bed with his wife, Maria Cahill, who was holding the newborn baby girl.
The photo also featured their 3-year-old daughter, Pia and one-year-old son, James. In the second photo, the actor shared a close-up of his newborn baby's face.
"IT’S A GIRL!!!! Gemma Clare Henrie was born 7lbs 15oz at 3:21 am," Henrie wrote in the caption. "Maria is currently enjoying the most deserved nap ever haha."
Henrie went on to gush over his wife and revealed she executed her plan to deliver the baby "drug-free." He also thanked God and everyone else for their prayers.
"She stuck to her plan l and had a drug-free birth and I couldn’t be more in awe of her!" he wrote. "Thanks be to God for the greatest gift on earth and Maria and I thank you all for your prayers. I received many messages and I really appreciate it."
The actor was also grateful to the nurses, named Morgan and Sofia, alongside a midwife named Katy.
The comments section of the post was filled with congratulatory messages. Actors including Julian Lerner, Patrick Renna, Gregg Sulkin and Chris Titone congratulated the couple and dropped celebration emojis.
Henrie and Cahill got married in 2017.
The actor shared a family photo last week featuring his kids and pregnant wife, saying he will be revealing the baby's gender next week. The photo was clicked during their friends' wedding held at Lake Coeur d'Alene.
On the work front, Henrie is popularly known for playing Justin Russo's character on "Wizards of Waverly Place" TV series from 2007 to 2012. The actor also appeared in another popular series "How I Met Your Mother" from 2005 to 2014.
Considering his upcoming projects, the actor lent his voice to an animated movie, "Max & Me." He will be appearing in a biography drama, "Reagan," where he will portray Young Reagan's character. The movie is helmed by director Sean McNamara.
