Soap Central has presented detailed spoilers on the next five segments of NBC's long-running soap opera. According to the media report, the entire Salem City celebrates the New Year's Eve as "problems and passions arise." Will uncovers Sonny's secrets and learns what he did "to keep his dreams alive." This leaves Will devastated and tension rises between the couple.

Meanwhile, Paul realises he still loves Sonny and makes a move on his former flame. The report notes "Will and Sonny's, 'for better or worse,' vow is greatly tested by secrets."

Elsewhere in Salem City, John shows interest in getting back with Marlena and curious Nicole's "secret-seeking mission" backfires when Eric finds out about it. Daniel also finds out what Nicole has been up to and calls off their date.

As for Melanie and Brady, New Year's Eve brings out their desire for each other and things get immensely passionate between the two. Things take an unexpected turn for Rafe, whose secrets are unveiled that leaves him unemployed. However, he agrees to work as a "free agent" in Salem City.

Aiden has a new client, who may become the cause of troubles in his life. Meanwhile, Hope struggles hard coming to terms with Aiden's past. Breakup with JJ continues to haunt Paige. She finally confronts him and seeks answers to her questions.

We Love Soaps has also presented spoilers on Dec 29 - Jan 2 episodes of "Days of Our Lives" (DOOL). According to the media report, Melanie pays a surprise visit to Gabi in the prison. Will finds out that Sonny withdrew all the money from their joint bank account without telling him. Furthermore, Melanie issues a warning to Jordan about Chad. Later, however, Chad comes clean about his past with Melanie. Clyde approaches Aiden for help and Brady is upset with Melanie's changed behaviour. JJ confesses that he cheated on Paige and Sonny's world turns upside down.
