Picking up from where it left, week on "Days of Our Lives" (DOOL) begins with drama between Eve and J.J. Soap Central has presented some spoilers on the upcoming segment of NBC's long-running soap opera. According to media report, Eve and J.J. get into a heated argument. It seems Jennifer hears what they are fighting about and she demands answers from them. Eve gives J.J. a severe scolding and tells him to end his relationship with Paige. Meanwhile, J.J. tries to sort things out with Paige but fails to do so.

Elsewhere, Kate puts in more efforts to conceal her "secrets" and keep control on DiMera "empire." As for Abby, thoughts about Chad continue to drive her crazy. She even gets into a confrontation with Anne. The two women butt heads over their differences.

Rumours about the athlete Paul begin to spread at the hospital. His charming personality has an impact on the staff of the hospital. He even tries to impress Jordan and Abigail. However, he ends up falling for Theresa. Furthermore, she sets another plan in motion targeting Brady.

Brady finds himself in a tough situation. He seeks help from the most "unlikely source." Elsewhere in Salem City, Hope heads on her new mission. During her investigation, she finds "shady searches on Aiden's tablet." Upon making her discovery, she confronts Aiden and questions him about it. However, there is something more about Aiden that worries Hope.

Sparks start to fly between Daniel and Nicole once again. The two realise that they still have the desire to be with each other. In DiMera mansion, Stefano learns about conniving ways of his son Chad. The crime lord demands answers from him. However, Chad knows how to manipulate his father and manages to do so with his convincing "explanation." While telling Stefano about his plans, he turns in on his confederate Kate. Chad also ends up destroying his friendly terms with his "business partner Sonny."

Melanie surprises Maggie and their reunion turn into a happy occasion. Melanie is here to stay and has a motive behind her return to Salem City. The report teases that Melanie is hiding some deep dark secrets that she'd rather not tell anyone.
