'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Aug 22: Chloe fears for her baby; Nicole uncovers one of Deimos’ secrets

“Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) returns to the small screen this week, and the long-running soap promises to deliver episodes that are definitely worth the wait. On Monday, explosive revelations await fans, starting off with Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) discovery that Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) is basically Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) saviour. Nicole finds out that Deimos was able to reach out to a retired doctor to perform the surgery.

Meanwhile, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) is on the edge as she tries to hide the real identity of her baby’s father. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Aug.22 installment include Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Victor (John Aniston), Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley).

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” Chloe has another nightmare wherein Deimos found out about his child that she’s been carrying. Meanwhile, Nicole learns that it was Deimos who convinced a retired doctor to treat Maggie. Elsewhere, Maggie gets concerned about Tate as she prepares for her surgery.

Before it went to a brief hiatus, “DOOL” left its fans with a romantic image of Rafe and Hope. He visited her at home while she’s recovering and proposed a movie marathon. However, there’s a power outage, and their night sizzled as they made love. Their evening of pleasure turned ugly, however, when they were informed by Roman later that Justin has been replaced as DA by Aiden Jennings. In shock, Hope fell to the floor and Rafe was equally stunned.

The episode also dealt with a tragedy, as Chad confirmed Abby’s “death.” He shared this with Jen who was utterly devastated for her daughter’s demise. JJ, on the other hand, blamed Chad for ruining his sister’s life. While trying to wrap her head around the tragic news, Jen got visited by Jack’s ghost, who comforted her. Meanwhile, Andre reveled on the news that Chad and the others believed what happened to Abby.
