'Days of Our Lives' spoilers for August 22 - 26, 2016: Maggie worries about Tate; new District Attorney takes over Justin’s cases; Ciara confesses her feelings to Chad

The heavy drama and thrills that have been on break for the Olympics is back with a bang as “Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) returns on air this August 22.

On Monday , August 22, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) gets scheduled for back surgery while she worries about baby Tate Black’s (Thomas and Peter Machala) condition. Tate on the other hand, gets reunited with his parents , writes Soaps She Knows.
On Tuesday , Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) gets really disturbed about her daughter’s untimely demise and ends up alone in a secluded motel . It appears she has plans to ease the pain with pills and alcohol.
On Wednesday, Both Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) get a little disturbed about the new District Attorney Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) possibly finding out that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) was the one who killed Stefano Dimera (Joseph Mascolo). This new District Attorney will inform Rafe that he has been going all over Justin Kiriakis’(Wally Kurth) cases just to make sure that it is being worked hard on.
On Thursday, Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) gets intimate and confesses to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that she has fallen hard for him. She just cannot keep her feelings boiling inside her for any longer. Sadly, Ciara could be finding herself in the worst situation possible time to make this crucial confession since Chad has nobody other than Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) on his mind.
On Friday, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) gets picked up in an inquest about Tate’s kidnapping. He however insists that he is only being framed up by Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizzary) and that he is completely innocent of the accusations being made.
“Days of Our Lives” airs on NBC every Monday to Thursday on NBC in the United States. It also airs every weekday on Arena in Australia.
