'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Dec. 14: A young couple’s argument leads to an emergency situation; Nicole is ready for closure

A highly emotional day awaits Salem City on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Wednesday, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) decides it’s time to finally let go of Daniel (Shawn Christian) and move on with her life with Deimos (Vincent Irizzary). Spoilers hint that Nicole bids goodbye to an imaginary Daniel.

Meanwhile, Joey (James Lastovic) gets into a heated argument with Jade (Paige Searcy) about her pregnancy. The young couple’s fight becomes too ugly, putting Jade and her baby at risk. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 14 installment include Kate (Lauren Koslow), Adrienne (Judi Evans) and Brady (Eric Martsolf).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Kate gives comfort to Adrienne, who’s going through a difficult time. Meanwhile, Jade and Joey get into an intense confrontation. Elsewhere, Nicole reveals that she’s ready to forge a life with Deimos. He, on the other hand, informs Brady that he’s about to discover the truth about Chloe’s baby.

In the previous episode, Deimos revealed to Brady that Chloe offered to carry Nicole and Daniel’s baby as a surrogate. Deimos believed that Chloe is pregnant with Nicole’s child and Philip is helping her keep her secret. Brady countered that the timing does not add up, but Deimos insisted that Philip’s mention of the word “embryo” was crucial – apparently, Chloe froze some embryos and could have used it to try the procedure again.

Brady advised Deimos from pursuing the case – it might cause Nicole another heartbreak. Deimos agreed, but he said she deserves to know the truth. Despite his hesitations, Brady agreed to work with him, as long as there would be no more kidnappings. Later, Deimos called the clinic where Chloe had the procedure, offering a big donation. He made an appointment to meet with Dr Lee.

Elsewhere, Steve gave Kayla an early Christmas gift: a photo album filled with photos of their first wedding. They flashed back to that happy day, and she said “I think this wedding is the only Christmas present I need.” The two kissed.
