'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Dec. 21: Salemites deal with an emotional break-up, an unexpected birth and a shocking revelation

An emotionally charged day awaits fans of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) on its next episode. On Wednesday, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) fails to turn up at Salem, making Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) concerned.

What they don’t know is that Nicole’s busy helping Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), who suddenly goes into labour. Spoilers hint that Nicole will even deliver the baby, which is actually hers. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 21 installment include Andre (Thaoo Penghlis), Abby (Marci Miller), Gabi (Camila Banus), JJ (Casey Moss), Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) and Paul (Christopher Sean).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Deimos and Brady get extremely worried when Nicole doesn’t go home after visiting Chloe in Chicago. Meanwhile, Dario catches Paul poking around his shipments on the dock. Gabi, on the other hand, ends her relationship with JJ. Elsewhere, Andre urges Abby to still come clean and show herself.

In the previous episode, Chloe was shocked to see Nicole in Chicago, assuming that the latter already know the truth about the baby. However, it appeared that Nicole is still in the dark, and she even invited Chloe to head back to Salem that night. “You're like family, like my sister,” Nicole said. Chloe refused, saying it will never work because of Deimos. Recognising that it’s a useless battle, Nicole dropped the subject and the two hugged. Later, when Nicole called Deimos, Chloe’s water bag broke and she soon started going into labour.

Meanwhile, Philip confronted Deimos at the mansion, accusing his uncle of kidnapping and drugging him. A scuffle ensued until Victor intervened. Philip told Victor what Deimos did to him. When Victor didn’t side with him right away, Philip grew frustrated and decided to leave Salem. He bid his father goodbye. Later, Philip also looked for Kate to tell her he’s leaving. She was shocked and soon cried, expressing that she’ll miss him.
