As the town of Salem begins its New Year 2016 countdown, they are also in a flurry preparing for the relaunch of the Basic Black fashion show. On Tuesday, the NBC soap opera "Days Of Our Lives" (“DOOL”) will show Nicole (Arianne Zucker) stepping in to save the event amid ongoing chaos, much to Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) chagrin.

The upcoming “DOOL” episode will also feature Abigail (Kate Mansi), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Shawn (Jason Cook), (Belle (Martha Madison), Ava (Tamara Braun), Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “DOOL,” Philip will console Belle after learning something that upset her from Shawn. Meanwhile, Jennifer and Abigail will get worried about Thomas’ condition and will rush him to the hospital. As for Ava, she is headed for a collision with both Kayla and Steve. Elsewhere, Nicole calls the shots at the Basic Black fashion show in attempt to save it from disgrace.

The Dec. 29 episode will take off from Monday’s ruckus between Kate and Theresa (Jen Lilley) over a dress for the fashion show. In the middle of their argument, Kate tells Theresa that she can’t be part of the launch anymore. This caused Theresa to walk out of the design room in tears. Nicole, who witnessed the incident, reminded Kate that the show promised to showcase three designers.

Realizing this, Kate made some calls in an attempt to invite a new designer to join the fashion show, but her efforts were in vain. Nicole told Kate she will handle the dilemma. However, while Nicole went after Theresa to talk to her, Kate said she already found a replacement. The two women argued, with Kate asserting she’s the one making the decision.

“Days Of Our Lives” airs daily at 1 pm on NBC and 8 pm on POP.
