'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Dec. 5: Rafe and Shawn ask for help from Stefano’s former lover; Ciara meets her mystery man

Surprising discoveries hound Salem City on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Monday, Rafe (Galen Gering) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) continue to work tirelessly to help Hope (Kristian Alfonso) get out of jail. Spoilers hint that the two men dig deeper into Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) past and even turn to Kate (Lauren Koslow) for help.

Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Dec. 5 installment include Hattie (Deidre Hall), Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), Theo (Kyler Pettis), Abe (James Reynolds) and Valerie (Vanessa Williams).

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” Hope is surprised when she gets help from someone unexpected. Her friendship with Hattie also continues to grow inside prison. Meanwhile, Shawn and Rafe seek Kate’s support as they delve into Hope’s case. Ciara, on the other hand, reels after meeting her online date. Elsewhere, Theo asks Valerie to buy a Christmas tree.

In the previous episode, Jennifer agreed to bring Thomas to the attic, after Abby begs her, saying that she misses her son. Jennifer went to the DiMera mansion and asked Chad if she could spend some time with Thomas. Fortunately, he gave his permission and let Jennifer take the baby home. After seeing Thomas, Abby got quite emotional. The baby cried, prompting Abby to have a meltdown. Jennifer helped her to put Thomas to bed. Abby reckoned Thomas is better off without her, but Jennifer insisted he needs his mum. Jennifer asked Abby to reconsider her plan to hide from other people.
