Last week on “Days of Our Lives” (DOOL), the show saw Joseph Mascolo as the DiMera Patriarch Stefano for one last time. Mascolo will truly be missed by fans who have been watching him since he first appeared. Fortunately, his character got sent off in a manner that fans would never forget.

A manhunt was previously set for Stefano, and he was finally cornered in Prague. He was tossed into a jail cell and had to answer some questions. However, he suddenly disappeared. That provided the perfect ending to Mascolo’s run, and, for now, Hope Williams Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) helpers will breathe a sigh of relief.

Fans have been wondering what the soap opera would be doing with Mascolo’s character when the actor passed away earlier. Fans could not bear the thought of Stefano’s storyline being continued without Mascolo involved. This would make the plot lose its punch. Thankfully, Mascolo had filmed a few scenes just in time to give fans something to remember him forever.

As Valentine’s Day eases in, the show is about to get more romantic. However, this will not be all easy as there will be a lot of challenges along the way.

Spoilers reveal that on Monday, Feb. 13, Hope will question Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) about his feelings for Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). On Tuesday, Victor will learn of Deimos Kiriakis’ (Vincent Irrizary) actions and will tell him that he needs to clean it all up as soon as he can.

On Wednesday, Stephanie Johnson (Shelley Hennig) will arrive home to join in the wedding festivities. On Thursday, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will remarry each other in the presence of family and friends, writes Soaps She Knows.

On Friday, Julie Olson Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will receive devastating news. Her son David Banning has passed away. Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis (Judi Evans) will find Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) unconscious in the alley and will learn some startling news about Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).

“Days of Our Lives” airs on NBC every Monday to Thursday in the United States. It also airs every weekdays at 12:45 p.m. on Arena in Australia.
