'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Feb. 20: A life-changing decision devastates a Salemite; families set up a risky exchange
A series of unexpected twists and big revelations hound Salem City as “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) delivers its first salvo for the week. On Monday, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is shattered to hear the court’s decision about Holly. Spoilers suggest that the judge awards Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) full custody of the baby, leaving the real mother devastated.
The decision will prove to be a pivotal moment for Nicole – while she has been having doubts about Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), her latest discoveries about her fiancé will push her to finally break up with him. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Feb. 20 run include Belle (Martha Madison), Justin (Wally Kurth), Abby (Marci Miller), JJ (Casey Moss), Chad (Billy Flynn), Gabi (Camila Banus), Brady (Eric Martsolf), Eduardo (A Martinez) and Andre (Thaoo Penghlis).

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” Nicole has had enough of Deimos and finally ends their relationship. Meanwhile, Abby and JJ join forces to determine where Gabi and Chad are being kept against their will. The “Days Of Our Lives” website posted sneak peek photos of Nicole and Deimos, as well as Abby and JJ.
Also on Monday, Eduardo and Andre, on the other hand, reach out to Deimos to discuss the trade of their hostages. “DOOL” fans know that Sonny (Freddie Smith) has been kidnapped and it appears to be an act of revenge against Deimos for holding Gabi and Chad as hostages. Adrienne even attacked Deimos after he refused to even acknowledge that he was behind the kidnapping of the two.

In the previous episode, the custody battle started and Chloe had to give Holly to protective services until the hearing ends. The judge announced that he’s moving the hearing to his chambers and ordered Deimos not to attend. Outside, Brady confronted Deimos, who admitted that he bribed the judge. Brady blew his top, telling Deimos it was a terrible move.
In the chambers, Belle dropped a shocking bombshell: she has evidence that Deimos was talking privately to the judge originally assigned to the custody case. As a result, the judge had to drop the case. Chloe accused Nicole of being involved, but the new judge believed Justin and Nicole did not know anything about it. The hearing began, with both sides arguing their case and trying to prove which woman is the rightful mother for Holly. Nicole then asked for an opportunity to talk and the judge allowed her. She shared her struggles in trying to conceive before and said that Holly is the only part of Daniel she has left. After, the judge exited to deliberate and moments later, she returned to deliver her decision.
