'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Feb. 28: A daring move, some shocking news and romance hound Salem City

Surprising twists and shocking events rock Salemites on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Tuesday, Sonny (Freddie Smith) makes a pitch to Victor (John Aniston), expressing his desire to be the next CEO of Titan Industries. Fans would remember that Sonny’s resentment toward Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) intensified after he was abducted at the height of the technology war.

Meanwhile, things also heat up – in a good way – between Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering). Hope certainly has suffered quite a lot of difficulties recently and Rafe hopes to make her forget about the tumultuous time she went through. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Feb. 28 run include Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Joey (James Lastovic), Jade (Gabrielle Haugh), Brady (Eric Martsolf), Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin).

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s run of “DOOL,” Sonny talks to Victor, putting forward his intentions of making him Deimos’ successor. Kayla, on the other hand, surprises Joey and Jade with a stunning piece of information. The “Days Of Our Lives” website posted sneak peek photos of Joey and Jade, as well as Victor for the Feb. 28 episode.

The upcoming run also centres on Rafe and Hope, who spend some romantic time together. Meanwhile, Nicole implores Chloe to give back baby Holly. “DOOL” fans would remember that the court awarded full custody of Holly to Chloe, even though Nicole is the baby’s real mother. After her legal victory, Chloe decided to move to New York to grab a career opportunity.

In the previous episode, Deimos begged Nicole to allow him to help her get her baby back. He promised to change but she said she’s had enough. Deimos then went to Salem Inn and asked Chloe to return baby Holly to Nicole. Chloe stood her ground and kicked him out of her room. Meanwhile, Nicole met Brady at the square, where he informed her of Chloe’s big move. Nicole said she’ll follow Chloe and Holly to New York.

Later, Nicole went to see Chloe, telling her that she broke things off with Deimos and quit Titan. Nicole also told her of plans to move to New York to show that she can be a good mother to Holly. Chloe brought out the restraining order and reminded Nicole that she can’t contact her or come within 20 feet of her and the baby. Elsewhere, Brady went to the Kiriakis mansion after Deimos called him. Deimos sought his help to win back Nicole but Brady refused. Deimos then accused Brady of having feelings for Nicole.

Just outside Salem, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) went to Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) farm after talking to Marlena (Deidre Hall). She thanked him for saving Hope’s life and grabbed him for a kiss. While he didn’t want to return home to Salem, Jennifer vowed to be back for another visit son. Meanwhile, Marlena also informed Rafe about Eric’s heroic acts for Hope. They also talked about Hope and Rafe expressed excitement over his plans of making her happy.
