'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for July 14: Chad and Jennifer’s custody battle intensifies; Chase has epic meltdown

On Thursday, “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) centres on heated conflicts and confrontations. Chad (Billy Flynn) faces off with Jennifer (Melisa Reeves) as they struggle to get custody of baby Thomas. Jennifer believes that in light of recent events leading to Abby’s (Kate Mansi) disappearance and possible death, Chad is not fit to take care of the baby. Chad, on the other hand, argues that Jennifer cannot be trusted either, given her history of addiction.

Spoilers hint that despite the escalating fight for Thomas, Chad will soon give up and accept defeat. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the July 14 installment Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) and Chase (Jonathon McClendon).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s run of “DOOL,” Ciara squares off with Chase, who suffers from a terrible meltdown. Meanwhile, Chad and Jennifer continues to spar over Thomas’ custody.

On Wednesday, Kate made a deal with Deimos – he’ll clear her name with the authorities, and in exchange, she’ll exit Titan and return his money. Later, they went to SPD and recounted what happened on the evening of Deimos’ fall at the river. They said that Deimos was drinking and he accidentally hit his head on a tree, which caused him to lose his balance and led to his fall. Roman reminded Kate that she previously testified seeing Nicole push Deimos in the river. Deimos bailed out Kate, saying that she just made a mistake. He also saved her when Roman asked them about their marriage. Deimos said they did get married but now they decided to have an annulment. Shortly after, Nicole was called to the station and she reacted happily with this news. Roman ordered her to stay away from Deimos.

Meanwhile, Brady revealed that based on the toxicology report, Theresa’s protein drink was laced with barbiturates. Theresa accused Summer of putting it in her drink, but Brady said there’s no proof to back that theory. Theresa turned absolutely livid, lashing at him for defending Summer. Later, she felt bad for screaming at Brady and headed off somewhere.
