'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for June 20: Abby wants to be released from Shady Hills

For its opening salvo this week, “Days of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) deals with the continuous and various struggles of the show’s female characters. On Monday, Abby (Kate Mansi) asks Chad (Billy Flynn) to get her out of Shady Hills, the mental institution she’s currently in. Spoilers hint that Abby’s doctor won’t permit this, given that she is still a threat to herself and the others. Fans wonder whether Chad would help Abby escape the clinic to live as a family again.

Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the June 20 installment include Belle ( Martha Madison ), Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Dario (Jordi Villasuso), Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), Deimos ( Vincent Irizarry ), Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Parker ( Christian Ganiere ).

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” Belle lashes at Nicole and Dario for breaking into the Kiriakis mansion, while Nicole insists that she’s innocent and that it’s Kate who killed Deimos. Deimos, on the other hand, befriends Parker. Meanwhile, Chad gets concerned about Abby, who desperately pleads for her freedom from the mental institution.

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

Last week, Chad and Marlena went to Shady Hills after learning that Abby was injured from a fire. Dr Robinson told them that someone may have deliberately set the fire. She also informed the two that Abby was suffering burns on 10 percent of her body. When Chad saw his wife with a white mask on her face, Chad cried. Abby woke up and while Chad was talking to her, she hallucinated about Ben. Later, Marlena told Chad that the police think it was Abby who caused the fire.

Meanwhile, Roman looked for Justin and found him at the Edge. Roman told Justin that a piece of evidence in a big case is missing. Justin, who destroyed the evidence, acted shocked about this information. Later at the station, a cop showed Roman the bloody cloth that Kate planted at the river.
