'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for June 9: As the Johnsons head home to Salem, Kayla falls ill again

On Thursday, “Days of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) centres on homecoming and reunions. After making sure that Joey (James Lastovic) is safe, he prepares to return to Salem with Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). However, their trip back home gets interrupted when Kayla experiences another health scare, which causes her family to worry. Spoilers also hint that Fynn (Alexander Bruszt) will finally realise that Kayla belongs to Steve, and he’ll do something to get them back together.

Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the June 9 installment include Kate (Lauren Koslow), Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) , Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s run of “DOOL,” Steve gear up to go back to Salem with his wife and son, but at the last minute, Kayla’s health falters. Meanwhile, Fynn decides to do something about his relationship with Kayla. Belle and Shawn, on the other hand, put aside their differences to have a pleasant time together. Elsewhere, Kate drops the marriage bombshell on Nicole.

“DOOL” fans were treated with a Hope Brady special on Wednesday. Hope decided to take a break from all the drama in Salem and go to Horton Cabin on Smith Island. There, she took a trip down memory lane as she encountered the men from her past.

First, there was Bo, her late husband. To him, she confessed that she feels tired and alone. They talked about Rafe and Aiden. Hope said she thought she’d never love anyone again but Bo, but now she’s torn between the two men. Bo then asked her to open a door, and when she did, Larry appeared. Larry teased her about killing Stefano and letting someone pay for her crime. Hope shoved him out the door. Once alone, Bo and Hope had flashbacks of their romantic times in the past. Their romantic reverie, however, got cut short when they recalled about Stefano’s murder. At that point, Stefano appeared and they talked about her sins, as well as his. Bo said if she accepts that she did the best she could, she can move on. While Hope knew that there’s no way she and Stefano could let go of what they did, she promised to look out for Chad for him. Stefano then went off.

The next spirit to come by is an all-grown up Zack, Hope and Brady’s son. Their reunion became an emotional one, as she cried while hugging her child. Zack told her that she’s a good mother, and his siblings are lucky to have her. Zack then had to leave, and when Hope opened the door, she saw herself, who said she’s got it from here. Later, Bo asked Hope to let go. The two shared a romantic dance to the tune of “Tonight I Celebrate My Love.” It was only after their dance that Hope finally opened the door and left. At that point, she woke up. She prepared to head home to Salem.
