'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for March 16: Abby makes a move to drive Chad and Gabi apart; Hope gets a surprise
Big revelations and devious schemes come into play on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Thursday, an awkward scenario prompts Abby (Marci Miller) to take action in order to protect her marriage with Chad (Billy Flynn). While she trusts her husband, she doesn’t want to take any chances and risk losing him to Gabi (Camila Banus).
Spoilers suggest that Abby will devise a way to stop Chad’s growing closeness with her friend. Instead of ordering the two to stay away from each other, Abby plays matchmaker and sets up a date for Gabi. Other characters who will figure prominently on the March 16 run include Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Eli (Lamon Archey), Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade (Danielle Haugh).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s run of “DOOL,” Steve and Kayla receive more updates about his son with Ava. Abby, on the other hand, catches Chad and Gabi in a compromising position. The soap’s website posted sneak peek photos of Kayla and Steve, as well as Abby for the March 16 episode.
The upcoming run also features Hope, who is stunned when a surprise arrives for her. Elsewhere, Joey breaks Jade’s heart when he tells her that their relationship is over. Things have certainly been difficult for Jade, who recently saw her dad’s meltdown at the hospital that threatened Kayla’s life. Meanwhile, Joey has other issues to deal with, such as having a half-brother from the woman he killed.

In the previous episode, Abby and Chad held a press conference about the DiMera Foundation, which donated money for sports and athletics. He felt unsettled as he kept on thinking about Gabi. Chad was so distracted that he accidentally spilled beer on his clothes. Fortunately, Abby brought a backup suit for him and told him to change at Dario’s (Jordi Vilasuso)office. While changing, Gabi appeared and walked in on him while he’s on his underwear. He panicked and quickly tried to put on his pants but tripped and fell over. Gabi tried to help him and the two had a laugh about the whole situation. At that exact moment, Abby walked in and was shocked with what she witnessed.
At the Horton Square, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) had a lunch to officially meet Eli. Everyone was in high spirits as they told Eli more about their family. Later, Valerie (Vanessa Williams) arrived and saw Eli giving his grandmother a hug. He told his Valerie about the lunch and she informed him of her decision to stay in Salem. When Valerie left, Eli was introduced to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) and JJ (Casey Moss) and more Horton stories were shared. Eli thanked everyone for making him part of their family.
