'Days of Our Lives' spoilers for May 23 - 27, 2016: Jennifer will battle with her drug addiction

In the May 23 to 27, 2016 episodes of “Days of Our Lives” (“DOOL”), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will be fighting not to give in to her drug addiction.

On Monday, May 2, Belle (Martha Madison), and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) will make love, writes Serial Scoop. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will push Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) away and tell him that she already has feelings for Rafe (Galen Gering).
On Tuesday, Jennifer will go through a very long time as she attempts to keep herself from succumbing to her addiction to painkillers. Her mind will start to show her terrifying thoughts on how her drug problem may affect JJ (Casey Moss) and Abigail (Kate Mansi).
On Wednesday’s episode, Fynn(Alexander Bruszt) will drive Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) to Los Angeles to go after Joey (James Lastovic). According to She Knows Soaps, Aiden will also go to jail to see Chase (Jonathon McClendon).
On Thursday, Hope will share to Rafe about Ciara’s (Vivian Jovanni) worries. Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) will feel that Belle and Shawn are already in better terms and will ask if they are already back together.
On Friday’s episode, Eduardo will openly talk about how much he disapproves of JJ dating Gabi (Camilla Banus). JJ and Roman (Josh Taylor) will fight over Rory. Chase will be attacked and immediately brought to the hospital.
TVInsider writes that there will soon be a whole episode devoted only to Jennifer’s drug addiction. Melissa Reeves said that the scenes only involve Jennifer and Jack (Matthew Ashford). Only Jennifer can see Jack, so he may be a hallucination when she tries to fight her drug addiction. Jack will appear and talk to her about how she is at her worst. This may all happen on Wednesday’s episode on May 25.
Recent cast news also reveal that Shawn D, Belle, Lani (Marie Wilson) and Summer (Sal Stowers) will be gone when the actors exit the soap. Two more actors were also reportedly given notice already, while another one will be leaving the show in the summer. On the other hand, there will be a number of familiar characters returning in a huge storyline.
“Days of Our Lives” airs on weekdays on NBC. It also airs on Arena in Australia. More updates and details are expected soon.
