'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for May 24: Jennifer battles with her addiction; a familiar face gives her a hand

Tuesday’s episode of “Days of Our Lives” focuses on Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), who finally acknowledges that she’s addicted to painkillers and vows to do something about it. The thought of her problem’s impact to her children and grandchild makes her realise it’s high time for her to take action. Whilst it’s not going to be an easy process, she finds support from someone in her past. Spoilers hint that Jack (Matthew Ashford) will appear in her dream to help her overcome what she’s going through.

TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s run of “DOOL,” Jennifer experiences a sleepless night as she attempts to control herself from falling off the wagon. She thinks of the horrifying effects of her addiction to her loved ones, especially Abby and JJ. Jennifer receives a special visitor, who reminds her of the woman she used to be.

In the previous episode, Rafe saw Aiden and Hope kissing in the park and he stalked off, heartbroken. He didn’t see Hope push Aiden away. Aiden apologised to Hope and said he missed her. He asked if she loves Rafe, and Hope confessed that they have feelings for each other. She also told him that things have changed and it’s too late for her and Aiden. Aiden accepted this, and wished the best for Hope and Rafe. Meanwhile, Rafe went to The Edge to drown his misery with alcohol. Roman walked in, and the two men discussed about Hope. Roman encouraged Rafe to fight for her. Rafe agreed, and went to Hope’s house. He told her again that he loves her and that he won’t let her go. Hope and Rafe share a passionate kiss.
