'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for May 5: Summer gets herself into trouble, denies having feelings for Brady

On Thursday, “Days Of Our Lives” focuses on Summer (Marie Wilson), as she deals with a dilemma and a conflict with Theresa (Jen Lilley). Theresa accuses Summer of wanting Brady (Eric Martsolf) for herself, but Summer insists her relationship with him is just friendship and nothing else. Spoilers hint that despite Summer’s denial, Theresa will continue to be suspicious of the two’s growing closeness.

Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the May 5 installment include John (Drake Hogestyn), Marlena (Deidre Hal) and JJ (Casey Moss).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s episode of “DOOL,” Summer get herself in a tricky situation. She also denies having romantic feelings for Brady when Theresa confronts her. John consoles Marlena, who is still grieving about Eric. Meanwhile, JJ gets an invite to join a Hernandez family lunch.

The previous episode showed Abby in the mental clinic, where she was asked about Ben. She got paranoid about the doors being unlocked, but she was assured that the facilities are safe. Abby told the doctor about how she set Ben on fire at the mansion, and that she still sees him. “He's always there,” she said. The doctor assured her that she’s safe there, but she got agitated and had difficulty breathing. Later, Chad arrived and Dr Robinson gave him updates about Abby. Chad then went to visit Abby, and the two hugged and kissed. However, she flipped out when she saw Ben watching them. Meanwhile, Ciara told Hope that she needs her space and is moving out. Hope disagreed, and Chad offered to let Ciara live in the house on the property for free. Hope then confided to Rafe about Ciara’s decision, and he comforted a distraught Hope.
