'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Oct. 26: A shocking bombshell rocks the Kiriakis family; a couple savours their ‘freedom,’ unaware of the looming danger

Big revelations and a surprising turn of events await Salem City on the next episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Wednesday, Victor (John Aniston) stuns his loved ones with a big announcement: he’s retiring and is ready to hand over the reins of the family empire. Spoilers suggest that there are four likely candidates as Victor’s heirs: Brady (Eric Martsolf), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry).

Meanwhile, Rafe (Galen Gering) wants to take Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) mind off her recent ordeal with Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove). However, as the savour their freedom, they are oblivious about the bigger threats they are about to face. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Oct. 26 installment include Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Abe (James Reynolds), Valerie (Vanessa Williams), Theo (Kyler Pettis) and Ciara (Vivian Jovanni).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Ciara comes to Theo’s aid so he can visit his dad in the hospital. Meanwhile, Kayla and Valerie do their best to save Abe’s life. Victor, on the other hand, gathers the Kiriakis family to make a huge announcement. Elsewhere, Rafe springs a surprise camping trip for Hope.

In the previous episode, Hope accused Aiden of trying to rape her. Aiden realised it’s wrong to force Hope to love him again. He cried and apologised for wthe pain he caused. He promised to leave her alone, deleting Hope’s confession as proof. Aiden said he has one more thing to do and asked Hope to come with him.

Meanwhile, Roman and Rafe mull over various strategies to help free Hope from Aiden. Roman decided to invite the Deputy Mayor to tape Rafe’s confession. Later, the Deputy Mayor arrived at the police station and Rafe geared up to confess. Hope suddenly appeared with Aiden, who made a shocking announcement: he’s resigning and is moving to Portland. Aiden also told them that he’ll have the divorce papers prepared. Unknown to them, Andre was listening to Hope's confession.
