Danger continues to loom large over Salem on the last episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) for the week. On Friday, John (Drake Hogestyn) gears up for a risky battle with the escaped prisoners. He’s all set and ready to pay the ransom in exchange for Joey (James Lastovic), but things do not go as smoothly as planned.

Meanwhile, another resident also finds himself in dangerous grounds when he comes face to face with his another villain. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Oct. 7 installment include Steve (Stephen Nichols), Roman (Josh Taylor), JJ (Casey Moss), Paul (Christopher Sean), Nicole (Lauren Koslow), Marlena (Deidre Hall), Victor (John Aniston), Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), Theo (Kyler Pettis), Clyde (James Read), Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Xander (Paul Telfer).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s run of “DOOL,” Ciara pleads with Theo, asking him not to get involved, but he’s determined to avenge his father. Meanwhile, Nicole, Marlena and Victor sit down to talk about Xander. Elsewhere, John, Steve, Roman, JJ and Paul are ready to give in to the fugitives’ demands.

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

On Thursday, Aiden called a restaurant and forced it to open to serve dinner for him and Hope. Andre then arrived, asking him about his latest achievement. Aiden threatened Andre, who just laughed at him. Meanwhile, Hope told Rafe that it’s best for them to take a break. Rafe was stunned, but quickly recovered and reckoned something’s not right. “We're much better off as friends,” she insisted, but Rafe accused her of being a terrible liar. Rafe assumed it was Aiden’s doing, but Hope denied it. Rafe realised that Aiden found out about Hope’s bloody secret, and that she’s protecting him and Roman. Rafe professed his love and kissed her. Later, Rafe headed to the Salem Inn where Aiden was located. When Aiden opened the door, Rafe hit him on the face. A heated argument ensued, wherein Aiden said that Hope’s going to be with him. Rafe said Aiden has to kill him first before that happens. Aiden’s tempted, but said he’d charge him instead. Meanwhile, Hope went to Jennifer’s house and shared with her what happened with Rafe. Jennifer was just as surprised as Rafe was, and hugged her friend.
