'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Sept. 15: A ghost from the past turns Kate’s world upside down; Salem may say goodbye to two male characters

Emotions run high in Salem on the next episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”), as some familiar faces return while the others prepare to make their exit. On Thursday, Kate (Lauren Koslow) gets on the edge when she sees Clyde (James Read) at the square. Spoilers suggest that Clyde is looking forward to the day when he finally faces up to Kate, and get the retribution he’s been seeking for all these years.

Meanwhile, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) arranges for Chase’s (Jonathon McClendon) transfer to a facility in Oregon. Reports claim that this may signal the departure of the father-and-son team. Aiden, however, won’t leave town peacefully – he’ll make sure to rattle Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) life first. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Sept. 15 installment include Chad (Billy Flynn), Gabi (Camila Banus), Theo (Kyler Pettis), Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Joey (James Lastovic).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s run of “DOOL,” Gabi turns up at Chad’s home with an armful of clothes for him to try for an upcoming event. Meanwhile, Aiden makes arrangements to move Chase to a facility based in Oregon. Elsewhere, Kate panics when she gets a glimpse of Clyde in Salem.

Wednesday’s episode centred on the nightmare that happened at Theresa and Brady’s wedding. At the Kiriakis mansion, Orpheus turned up with a gun on Eve’s head. Marlena gasped his name, while everyone else was shell-shocked. Paul volunteered to take Eve’s place and Orpheus grabbed him and let Eve go. Orpheus then released Sonny, Brady, Eve, Nicole and Tate. Victor tried to bribe him with cash if he disappears, but Orpheus was there to kill, not for money. Orpheus begun aiming his gun toward the room, and a scuffle ensued. Amid the struggle, the gun went off – John was shot in the arm. Orpheus ran, taking Paul with him. Paul later returned without his hostage-taker.

Elsewhere, Xander broke into the townhouse where Theresa was preparing for the wedding. She was absolutely terrified at the sight of Xander. She also attempted to bribe him, but he all he wanted was to see her die. He then started strangling her. She managed to kick him and he fell, giving her a chance to escape. Brady arrived, but Xander sneaked out through the bedroom window.
