The nightmare in Salem is far from over – the residents are still gripped with horror as they face the continuing spate of attacks from the prison escapees. On Wednesday’s episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”), John’s (Drake Hogestyn) worst fears come true when he discovers a loved one is being held captive by Orpehus (George DelHoyo). Spoilers suggest that the fugitive’s latest victim is Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan).

Elsewhere, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) decide they can’t just let the evil trio terrorise Salem – they get into action, not minding the danger. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Sept. 28 installment include Marlena (Deidre Hall), Abe (James Reynolds), Gabi (Camila Banus), Chad (Billy Flynn), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), JJ (Casey Moss), Clyde (James Read) and Xander (Paul Telfer).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Marlena provides Abe the lowdown on Clyde based on her expert opinion. Meanwhile, John reels after talking on the phone with Orpheus, while Brady and Sonny take a serious risk. Elsewhere, Gabi bumps into Chad and they share another warm moment. Jennifer, on the other hand, advises JJ not to dwell on the past.

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

On Tuesday, Aiden invited Rafe and Hope to the station to interrogate them about Stefano’s murder. Aiden left for a bit to take a call. While he’s gone, Hope was in a state, worrying that their bloody secret would soon be exposed. Aiden returned and said he’s leaving the DiMera file closed. Hope and Rafe reckoned they’re off the hook. However, it seemed that Aiden planted a bug in the interrogation room, capturing Hope’s confession.

Elsewhere, Chloe and Philip breathed a sigh of relief when Dr Wright revealed that Deimos is not the father of Chloe’s baby. They thought Kate did her part, as she promised. However, they were shocked when Kate turned up and shared what happened to her. If the paternity test results were not tampered, it meant someone else is the father. Chloe said she’s just as surprised as everyone else. Philip demanded to know the truth, but Chloe has no clue. Feeling like a fool, he stalked off.
