'Deadpool 2': Online picture hints at Wolverine and Cable in film
Two pictures posted online separately by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is leading to a lot of speculation about Wolverine being featured in “Deadpool 2.” There is also the possibility of a familiar actor being cast as the comic book character Cable.
Reynolds shared a picture [see below] of him meeting with Jackman and Pierce Brosnan. The picture in itself would not have carried any significant meaning, as actors do meet each other in Hollywood. But, the actors posed as Gandhi’s three monkeys, which embodies the proverbial principle of “see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil.” The post was also accompanied with a caption that mentioned each actor by their character name.
Jackman also shared a picture of this meeting on his Instagram page. He also referred to the actors in the picture, including himself, by the character names. Although many fans saw this as just another picture, one fan was quick to grasp that perhaps this is a way to tease Wolverine will be a part of “Deadpool 2,” and Brosnana, known for his role as James Bond, could be playing Cable.
Reynolds is keen on getting Jackman onboard his upcoming movie. However, he may keep the casting of the actor under wraps for now. There have been no casting announcements for the movie yet, but the comic book character Cabel has been tipped to be featured.
Will Brosnan be playing Cable in the film? The comic book character is a mutant from the future. In the comics, the character is the son of X-Man Scott Summers (Cyclops) and Jean Grey’s clone.
Filming of “Deadpool 2” is yet to begin. The movie is set to be released on March 2, 2018 in the US. The producers are yet to announce the release date of the movie for Australia.
