The latest Hollywood celebrity to be killed off again on the Internet is actor-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger. The fake death reports circulating online claim the 66-year-old "The Expendables" star died from a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.

According to The Nation report, the reports spreading around claims Arnold Schwarzenegger was on vacation with family and friends at the Zermatt ski resort in Switzerland when he died shortly after the snowboarding accident. The Global Associated News report reads: "Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger is reported to have died shortly after a snowboard accident earlier today - February 2, 2014. The actor & novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Arnold Schwarzenegger lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed."

The report further added that Mr Schwarzenegger instantly died from the impact of the crash even though he was wearing a safety helmet. "Arnold Schwarzenegger was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death," the Global Associated News report continued.

Arnold Schwarzenegger did not die from the reported snowboarding accident but users on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter were quick to give reactions and tribute to the actor-turned-California governor. Additionally, this is not the first snowboarding death hoax for the "Terminator" actor.

In 2012, the Travelers Today Web site reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger died from the accident with the "R.I.P. Arnold Schwarzenegger" Facebook page floating around since 2010. The report claims Internet users are allowed to put in any celebrity name into the Global Associated News generator that create the fake death story from either a car crash or jet ski accidents.

The list of celebrities that became victims of the Internet death hoax included Skrillex, Rapper Lil Wayne, Actor Vince Vaughn, Tom Kenny, the voice behind cartoon character SpongeBob Squarepants, pop-country singer Taylor Swift, legendary actor Morgan Freeman, comedian Bill Cosby, Alfonso Ribeiro or also known as Carlton from the Fresh Prince and Bill Nye but all of the celebrities mentioned are in fact alive and doing well.
