Death of a Pop Star: Michael Jackson Was a Drug Addict Reiterates His Physician
Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter two years ago and was sentenced to four years in jail. The shamed doctor of the deceased Michael Jackson was released three weeks ago after serving half of his sentence and he still steadfastly denied allegations that he had anything to do with the death of the most popular pop star in the music world.
In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, the 60-year-old Murray reiterated the fact that the cause of Jackson’s death was self-inflicted and that Jackson was a drug addict.
“I did not kill Michael Jackson. He was a drug addict,” said Murray, who was charged with involuntary manslaughter in 2010. “Michael Jackson accidentally killed Michael Jackson.”
“I never gave Michael anything that would kill him,” claimed the emotional Murray. “I loved him. I still do. I always will. There’s a void in my heart, a lingering pain. I miss him every day.
Murray had his medical licence revoked after being found guilty in one of the high profile cases this decade and a death that shook the music world.
The revealing interview also exposed how close the former doctor was to his pop star patient.
‘You want to know how close Michael and I were? I held his penis every night. I had to put a condom catheter on him because Michael dripped urine. He had a loss of sensation and was incontinent. Michael didn’t know how to put a condom on, so I had to do it for him.”
With Jackson dead no one can vouch for Murray’s assertions and after roughly two years in jail the ex-doctor is still, one way or another, imprisoned by the unfortunate circumstances of Jackson’s death; the pop star’s fans, who refers to him as “Dr. Death” or “Conrad Murderer”, still send him death threats forcing Murray to travel with bodyguards.
Not the way Murray envisioned his life to be when he signed up as Jackson’s personal doctor years ago.
