The Australian prime singer Delta Goodrem got a wax figure as part of Madame Tassauds' collection in Darling Harbour.

Delta Goodrem's wax figure will be joining the immortalized versions of other celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman.

Delta is an icon and a tribute to Australia making her a good choice in the wax figure. It took 60 artists and 800 hours to complete a realistic replica of the singer from her ocean blue eyes to her blonde locks. The singer was pleased with the end product and the press had a hard time telling which is real and which is not due to the resemblance.

"It's amazing...I wasn't involved in the creation. That would have been a disaster,'' the singer said. 'I'll stick to music.''

The Voice judge donated the flowing blue tone dress she wore during her Visualise tour. "It brings back happy memories from one of my favourite tours and I'm so happy to have such a proud moment of my career immortalised in an Australian hall of fame,'' Goodrem said.

The Madame Tassauds' wax museum in Darling Harbour, Australia will be open to public on April 16.
