Demi Lovato Is 'Not' Friends With Miley Cyrus, Says She Does Not Have Anything Common With Her
Former Disney stars Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus were best friends in the past but the lives of the two singers have taken completely different paths and both of them have become mere "acquaintances" now, Demi said in her recent interview. The two now do not find anything that is common between them, hence their friendship has ended. But, Demi gives her best wishes to the "Bangerz" beauty and has all good things to say about her.
"Um...yeah...that, um...we're, we're like...we're acquaintances," Demi said when she was asked about her current relationship with Miley Cyrus, reports eonline.com "It's life, and people change." She added, "I don't have anything in common with her anymore. I wish her the best."
Though the "Wrecking Ball" songstress does not hang out with Demi anymore, Demi still has praises for her former best friend's rebellious lifestyle. The "Heart Attack" singer said that Miley is doing what she likes to do. "It is right time for her to break out and figure out, you know, what she wants to do in her career and her image and everything," Demi said, according to the website.
Demi also revealed that she is "happy on seeing her happy" in her life because she loves her so much. About Miley's controversial lifestyle, Demi said that the singer does not give a damn to what people think about her and "nor should she."
Miley turned 22-year-old on Nov. 23 and celebrated her birthday by going topless and having a gala party. The "We Can't Stop" singer is currently seeing Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger's son Patrick Schwarzenegger. The singer was previously engaged to Australian actor Liam Hemsworth but the couple broke up last year. However, Miley and Patrick have been seen going out on several occasions and even showing affection in public.
Meanwhile, singer Demi Lovato's career has been on a steady rise. She was roped in to judge the singing reality show "The X Factor" in the past. Demi is scheduled to sing at the concert of Latin singer Enrique Iglesias on Tuesday, who will perform at SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Daily Mail reports.
