The world is still reeling from the split of Hollywood power couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher - and the actress is already supposedly finding comfort in another man's company.

Moore, 49, was seen out and about in Saturday with Hollywood florist Eric Butterbaugh.

It was her daughter Tallulah's debutante ball in Paris, but the newly single mom skipped the festivities. Ex-husband Bruce Willis and daughters Rumer and Scout were on hand to accompany Tallulah during the ritzy event.

Moore opted to stay in LA and spent the night with Butterbaugh at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

It's the former Mrs. Kutcher's first time to be seen out since news of the divorce broke.

A fellow diner told New York Post the two looked like they were enjoying their dinner, but there weren't any sparks flying.

"Demi looked good, and like she was ready to be seen out. She was in deep conversation with her male companion, but it didn't look like a romantic date," the eyewitness reveals to the Post.

An insider confirms the pair's platonic friendship in an interview with Hollywood Life.

"They are long time friends and were constantly chatting and joking. They weren't making a scene at all," the source dishes.

The two are such close pals that Butterbaugh tagged along the camping trip of Moore and Kutcher in October.

The highly-scrutinized weekend proved to be a last-ditch effort to save the crumbling marriage, which had been recently plagued with infidelity rumors.

Kutcher, 33 allegedly cheated on his then-wife during their anniversary with 23-year-old Sara Teal. This was after celebrating in a hot tub with other women at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel.

Reports say the boyfriend of one of the girls witnessed how wild the party was getting first hand. Gavin Naumoff, a close friend of the boyfriend, took to the press to attempt to clear things up.

"Sara is telling everyone 100 per cent that she and Ashton had sex," Naumoff reveals.

"Sara is a good friend. If she says she slept with him then I think she's telling the truth," he adds.
