The "Equalizer" actor recently revealed in an interview some interesting details about his filming preparations that involved nude or bed scenes. The interview reportedly happened during a mythbusters segment in Nova FM's breakfast show. The actor initially advised aspiring Hollywood actors; however, the topic veered off toward his sex scenes in his previous films.

According to Daily Mail, the actor admitted in the interview that part of his preparations was taking his leading ladies out to eat. The actor recalled his scene with "Flight" co-star Nadine Velazquez where Velazquez appeared naked with him on bed.

"When I did 'Flight,' the first scene we shot, she [actress, Nadine Velazquez] was supposed to be naked," Denzel said. "So I thought maybe we oughtta go out and have a bite to eat or something, say hello and get to know each other a little bit, before you gotta walk around with no clothes on all day," the actor added.

Daily Mail claimed the radio hosts were surprised at his frank revelations. However, it didn't stop the actor from sharing more details when it came to his sex scenes. In jest, Denzel reportedly told Fitzy and Wippa the "oldest" excuse actors give to their co-stars prior to filming steamy scenes: "Don't get upset if I get excited and don't get upset if I don't," the actor said, coupled with a laugh. However, his co-star only had nice things to say about him. In an interview with Global Grind, Nadine Velazquez revealed she would love to work with Denzel Washington again. The actress claimed working with him in "Flight" was amazing.

The veteran actor also had some wise words to share regarding acting. Denzel Washington claimed he "tells actors to get on stage." The 59-year-old encourages aspiring actors and actresses to hit the theatre to hone their acting experience. "You gotta know your lines, you can't say cut in the middle of a play, you cannot go back and re-do it," Denzel Washington said, attributing to his Broadway experience in "A Raisin in the Sun."
