"The Bachelor" has just ended but its counterpart is already getting ready for its new season. Desiree Hartsock, one of Sean Lowe's ladies, was handpicked to be the next "Bachelorette."

Even though she didn't win the heart of Sean Lowe, Desiree is about to embark in a new journey to find love. The 26-year-old beauty stylist from Newport Beach, California is now the one to choose who she wants to stay and who she sends home.

  1. She likes to draw. Hartsock posted several sketches that she made via her Twitter account. Few of her favorite subjects are Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.
  2. She's got her dream ring and dream wedding dress already picked out. On her Pinterest account, she posted an engagement ring and captioned the photo with "love." She also shared her fantasy wedding gown when the time comes that it's her time to walk down the aisle.
  3. She's a Christian. She constantly posts several quotes from the Bible using her Instagram account. But the question is, why would someone who has that kind of belief be willing to find love in an unlikely setting?
  4. She's a fashion designer. Desiree has some experience in designing both bridal wear and pluz size clothing. She created looks for Serenity Looks and Kiyonara.
  5. She's a huge Katy Perry fan. She once said that the biggest compliment she had was when someone told her she looked like Katy Perry.
