Three robberies within 48 hours hit different retail outlets in Toronto, Canada. In the latest incident, keeping with the high-end character of the fashion outlet, the robbers rode a white BMW X5 and stole $100,000 worth of items on Wednesday from a Prada shop.

The employees of the Toronto Prada outlet in Bloor Street West, Yorkville, said the items taken were mostly handbags and some wallet. The bags have price tags from $1,500 to $3,150, while the wallets cost from $420 to $550.

An hour before the Yorkville robbery, thieves crashed their white Mercedes Benz into Rider's Choice, a motorcycle gear shop at Dixie Road and Queensway East, Mississauga, then broke the glass doors and windows and stole a large amount of merchandise.

On Tuesday, thieves used a stolen Ford pickup truck to haul stolen merchandise such as Canada Goose jackets from Sporting Life at Sherway Gardens, but couldn't move the truck, forcing them to leave the loot and the stolen vehicle and fled in another waiting car.

Due to the similarity of the three robbery incidents, the police is investigating if the incidents are related.

"We don't have anything that definitively connects all three, but because of the similarities, that's certainly something the investigators feel ... is a very strong possibility," CBC quoted Peel Regional Police Constable Lilly Fitzpatrick.
