Dexter Season 7 is marked by Debra Morgan’s realisation of how little she knew about her foster brother, Dexter Morgan. In the pilot episode of the series, Dexter has emphasised Debra means so much to him. What happens when she becomes an accomplice to his Dark Passenger? Before Dexter Season 8 kicks off this weekend, take a look back into last year’s chapter. This is the season of Hannah McKay vs Debra Morgan, the penultimate season of the entire series.

On Season 8, viewers will meet FBI’s “Psychopath Whisperer.” It would be interesting if this character would meet Hannah McKay, who is also a psychopath whisperer -- a practicing one at that. Add to the mix the troubled conscience of Debra Morgan, and Dexter’s in for a whole lot of estrogeneous thoughts and emotions.

Other interesting albeit “passing-by” characters were Santiago Cabrera’s Sal Price (the book author obsessed with exposing Hannah) and Ray Stevenson’s Isaak Sirko (the homosexual mob leader).
“We are outsiders, you and I. On the periphery. Watching everybody else. Pretending we're just like them, but knowing we're not. Best we can hope for is to find a place where we don't have to pretend,” Isaak tells Dexter in yet another remarkable bonding-with-the-enemy moment on Dexter.
