In the leaked Dexter series finale spoilers, Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is killed by the Brain Surgeon aka Oliver Saxon aka Daniel Vogel (Darri Ingolfsson). This happens as Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) and Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski) are making their final preparations for departing Miami.

In Showtime's Dexter Season 8, Episode 12 sneak preview, Debra Morgan is with Quinn (Desmond Harrington) in the ambulance. She's bleeding and in so much pain from the gunshot wound in last week's episode. It must be noted that the leaked series ending spoilers indicate Quinn himself will put an end to the Brain Surgeon.

Here are some of the things that will develop -- according to the spoilers "leaked finale" -- in Dexter Season 8, Episode 12, the series finale:

- Debra Morgan dies. Cause of Death: Caring too much for Dexter and Hannah McKay. Dexter calls her to take care of the Brain Surgeon. The U.S. marshall pursuing Hannah messes up the situation.

- Dexter Morgan gives Debra a proper funeral - "deep in the abyss," as Jennifer Carpenter herself pointed out during the San Diego Comic-Con 2013.

- The new Dexter is Joey Quinn. He and Captain Matthews (Geoff Pierson) have known for a while that Dexter has been "cleaning up" Miami.

Dexter Season 8, Episode 12 will be the last time viewers will see Dexter, Debra, and Hannah. A lot of speculations pointed to Dexter killing Debra in the series ending. But the Season 8 villain from this year's premiere is apparently the last big enemy for the Morgans.
